About Santa's Letters and Gifts...

As the owner of Santa's Letters and Gifts, visiting with Santa's reindeer is one of my favorite jobs!We are a small, family-owned business located in North Pole, Alaska. Our first travels brought us to Alaska in the 1970s to visit family and attend the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Throughout the years we have traveled to many remote communities and villages around Alaska, and our experiences have been part of the inspiration for our products.

About Our Santa Letters

When we started our company, one of our goals was to design and create a Santa Letter package that reflects the spirit of North Pole while appealing to both parents and children. Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks provided the skills that were used to create our custom stationery, our Web site, and other in-house designs.

Our goal at Santa's Letters and Gifts is to provide you with the highest quality, traditional Santa letter. We print all of our letters on luxurious parchment paper, creating a warm, vintage look and feel. Unlike other companies, our stationery and our new mailing tube is custom designed.

We personalize each letter individually with your child, friend, or loved one's name, city, and state. All letters come postmarked from North Pole, Alaska; sealed with Santa's warmest wishes and are certain to a bring a smile to your child or loved ones today! We love what we do and it is a joy to bring happiness to children and adults around the world.

About Our Design

When we began to design our Santa letter, we wanted to evoke feelings of Christmas traditions long ago. Within our traditional design concept, our desire was to add a blend of North Pole's ubiquitous color scheme, CANDY-CANE STRIPES! From light poles to fire hydrants, candy cane stripes adorn many things around the town of North Pole. Finally, to make sure Rudolph received his rightful position, we placed him at the forefront of Santa's sleigh.

We think our Santa Letters are both traditional and fun, and we believe our letters reflect what living here at the North Pole is all about. We hope your child or loved one gets a sense of our community, while they experience the surprise and excitement of receiving a letter from Santa Claus, all the way from North Pole, Alaska!

About Us

Our family has made its home in North Pole, Alaska for over 20 years and we really appreciate the uniqueness and slow pace of our Northern community, plus the fact that we get to live where Santa Claus lives all year round. Needless to say, we feel very qualified in delivering a small part our community directly to your door.

We are grateful to live in such a beautiful place which offers great diversity in its people, landscape and climate. Alaska is rich in Native culture, tradition and languages. And here in the Interior, we celebrate our local history by commemorating the pioneers that ventured to Alaska in search of gold at the turn of the last century. Like their predecessors, Alaska's people remain hardy, resilient and extremely resourceful.

Looking Back

Photo taken at Richard's Cabin in the White Mountains in 1975.Pam took this photo as a young girl during a hunting trip at her uncle's cabin in the White Mountains. Pictured are her father, uncles, cousins and friends. The photo was taken in 1975. Today the cabin, named after her uncle (Richard's Cabin), is used as a public recreation cabin and is owned and maintained by BLM. The White Mountains are located north of Fairbanks.

In Our Back Yard

Welcome to North Pole, Alaska !Although the winters can be quite long and harsh, we love the quiet Northern living and winter beauty we see out our window each day. Moose slumber in our back yard, bears roam in the open wilderness nearby, and Santa's reindeer--well when they are not busy helping Santa, sometimes you can see them dancing across the surrounding hills above the Arctic Circle!

Because we are buried in snow almost two-thirds out of each year, we spend much of our time doing winter activities such as: ice skating, sledding, and cross-country skiing with our boys. Life is always a daily adventure here!
